IP65 Cube Wall Lights: How to Specify Your WOD001 Range

Select the light effect, function and finish, then confirm the installation and OEM details that matter to your order.

Begin with the light effect on the wall

A compact up-and-down cube wall light can create a defined pattern on an entrance wall, facade or interior feature wall. For a product range, start by choosing the housing size, beam adjustment and lighting behaviour. Then confirm the protection rating and installation conditions for the customer’s application.

What IP65 tells a buyer

IP65 describes an enclosure that is dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets. It does not establish suitability for immersion. Cable entries, seals and the installation method also matter when specifying an outdoor fitting. Ask for the selected model’s installation instructions and protection documentation.

For coastal sites, frequent high-pressure cleaning or unusually demanding environments, discuss the actual conditions before selecting the finish or housing. An IP rating alone does not confirm corrosion resistance or every type of exposure.

These WOD001 versions use a 100 × 100 × 100 mm aluminium housing and specify IP65 protection. Light output and dimming range depend on the version, so compare the individual specification rather than transferring data between models.

Check the adjustable beam in a real sample

The linked WOD001 specifications list an adjustable 10°–120° beam. This allows the light pattern to be configured on the wall. Evaluate a sample at the intended mounting height and on the actual wall surface; texture, colour and nearby fittings can change the appearance.

For a project quotation, include the desired visual effect and approximate spacing. Request the relevant photometric information when a lighting calculation is required. Product photographs demonstrate appearance and should not replace a project calculation.

Confirm dimming before ordering

Identify the exact wall-light function and intended dimmer. Share the dimmer model and the number of lights to be connected so the proposed combination can be checked. The DTW version changes its light colour during dimming; a standard fixed-CCT version provides a different effect.

Finish and OEM details

The WOD001-2W4C page lists matt black, matt white, taupe and rusted finishes. Use the finish images to shortlist a look, then approve a physical sample where colour matching matters. Screen display and lighting can change the apparent finish.

For OEM or ODM enquiries, send the target function, finish, quantity, branding and packaging requirements. Agree the product label and selector instructions together with the sample. Ask HSKY to confirm the available documents, production arrangements and current quotation for the chosen version.

A buyer’s enquiry checklist

  1. Model, lighting modes and preferred power setting.
  2. Finish and sample approval requirements.
  3. Indoor or outdoor location and any special exposure conditions.
  4. Dimmer model, circuit load and required technical documents.
  5. Order quantity, branding, packaging and delivery requirements.

Common wall-light questions

Does IP65 mean the wall light can be submerged?

No. Choose a product specifically suitable for the required immersion conditions. IP65 covers dust and water-jet protection, not immersion.

Does one WOD001 page cover every smart and sensor function?

No. HSKY publishes separate function versions. Use the Wall Lights overview to select the required smart or sensor model and check that version’s specification.

What should I confirm for a private-label order?

Confirm the exact version, housing finish, quantity, approved sample, packaging artwork and required technical documents. Send the model link with your enquiry to avoid mixing different WOD001 functions.
